Lauren Taus
Lauren is the founder of Inbodied Life, a brand dedicated to integrating modern science and ancient wisdom to support transformation. Inbodied Life began as a private practice, and has bloomed into a platform for psychoeducation through in-person experiential training, and online learning and peer mentorship.
Lauren Taus graduated summa cum laude from Barnard College at Columbia University with a BA in Religion before completing her Masters in Social Work at NYU. Lauren is licensed as a clinical therapist in both New York and California. Forever a student in the classroom of life, Lauren stands on the shoulders of giants like David Emerson under the supervision of Bessel van der Kolk at The Trauma Institute in Boston in trauma sensitive yoga, the Multidisciplinary Association of Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) for MDMA assisted psychotherapy for complex PTSD, and Dr. Phil Wolfson, author of The Ketamine Papers, in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy. Lauren also spends time in shamonic realms, and is well-versed in plant-medicines.
Lauren’s biggest prayer is to wake people up to the magic of life and what they’re part of. Lauren understands that the highest form of personal healing contributes to collective liberation. She feels particularly excited to share her work publicly. Lauren is a frequent contributor on stages at psychedelic conferences such as Meet Delic, Wonderland and Trail Blazers. Her work has also been featured in magazines such as Double Blind, New York Magazine, Chacruna, the Guardian, and Forbes.
